As a chapter and university, the concept of fraternity recruitment has changed. For some chapters at WKU, fraternity recruitment is just another week of the semester, but for us, we take recruitment seriously. As Delts, our goal is an everlasting drive, and we want to bring in the best quality men to not only strengthen our brotherhood but allow for our brotherhood to grow.

At many Southern Divisions, President Excellence Retreats, and Karneas, the same message has been shared with Epsilon Xi and chapters abroad; “Recruitment is the lifeblood of the fraternity.” As a chapter, we have taken this message to heart, and we continue to take crucial steps to move our fraternity in the right direction. Just recently, we completed formal recruitment for the spring semester.

Unlike in the fall, spring recruitment is informal and oriented toward connecting with guys on campus. At the end of recruitment week, we are proud to announce that, at the time of writing this issue, we have signed two new members into the chapter: Clayton Prather & John Bradley.

Although the formal recruitment process has been completed, recruitment is a non-stop grind as we continually seek to grow the chapter and give Western Kentucky students
